Autonomous Province of Trento is an autonomous province in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Trento. It is part of the Province of Bolzano, of the Trentino-Alto Adige region. But due to the agreements between the governments of Italy and Austria, mainly because of the linguistic issue, the region was virtually decentralised in its entirety in favour of the provinces, so that the provinces can be approved to the rest of the regions of Italy and not to the provinces.
